حَدَّثنا عَمْرو بن علي قَال حَدَّثنا يزيد بن زريع قَال حَدَّثنا سَعِيد عَن الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرة رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَامٌ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ وَحَامٌ أَبُو الْحَبَشِ وَيَافِثُ أَبُو الرُّومِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ سَمُرة وَأبُو هُرَيرة وَلَفْظُ حَدِيثِ سَمُرة مُخَالِفٌ لِلَفْظِ أَبِي هُرَيرة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَامٌ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ وَحَامٌ أَبُو الْحَبَشِ وَيَافِثُ أَبُو الرُّومِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ سَمُرة وَأبُو هُرَيرة وَلَفْظُ حَدِيثِ سَمُرة مُخَالِفٌ لِلَفْظِ أَبِي هُرَيرة
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Sam is the father of the Arabs, Ham is the father of the Ethiopians, and Yafith (Japheth) is the father of the Romans.' This hadith, we do not know it narrated except by Samurah and Abu Hurairah, and the wording of Samurah's hadith differs from Abu Hurairah's.
