حَدَّثنا عَبدة بن عَبد الله قال أَخْبَرَنَا سويد بن عَمْرو قال حَدَّثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَيِّدُ الاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي صَلاتِهِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي فَأَنَا عَبدك أَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِك وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abda ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Suwayd ibn Amr informed us, he said: Zuhayr narrated to us from al-Walid ibn Tha'laba from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The master of seeking forgiveness is that a man says when he sits in his prayer: 'O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am upon Your covenant and Your promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.'"
