حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ فَانْكَسَرَتْ سَفِينَتُنَا فَلَمْ نَعْرِفِ الطَّرِيقَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِالْأَسَدِ قَدْ عَرَضَ لَنَا فَتَأَخَّرَ أَصْحَابِي فَدَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا سَفِينَةُ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أَضْلَلْنَا الطَّرِيقَ فَمَشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ حَتَّى أَوْقَعَنَا عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى وَدَفَعَنِي كَأَنَّهُ يُرِينِي الطَّرِيقَ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يُهِمَّهُمْ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يُوَدِّعُنَا فَانْكَسَرَتْ سَفِينَتُنَا فَلَمْ نَعْرِفِ الطَّرِيقَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِالْأَسَدِ قَدْ عَرَضَ لَنَا فَتَأَخَّرَ أَصْحَابِي فَدَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا سَفِينَةُ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أَضْلَلْنَا الطَّرِيقَ فَمَشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ حَتَّى أَوْقَعَنَا عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى وَدَفَعَنِي كَأَنَّهُ يُرِينِي الطَّرِيقَ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يُهِمَّهُمْ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يُوَدِّعُنَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, he said: 'Uthman ibn 'Umar narrated to us, he said: Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Safinah, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: I was at sea when our ship broke apart, and we did not know the way. Suddenly a lion appeared before us. My companions retreated, but I approached it and said: "I am Safinah, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, and we have lost our way." It walked ahead of me until it brought us to the road. Then it stepped aside and nudged me as if showing me the way. Then it began to growl at them, and I thought it was bidding us farewell.
