حَدَّثَنَا رِزْقُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ نَا مُؤَمَّلٌ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ مِيزَانًا دُلِّيَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَوُزِنْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَرَجَحْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ وُزِنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِعُمَرَ فَرَجَحَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِعُمَرَ ثُمَّ وُزِنَ عُمَرُ بِعُثْمَانَ فَرَجَحَ عُمَرُ بِعُثْمَانَ ثُمَّ رُفِعَ الْمِيزَانُ فَاسْتَهْلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِلَافَةُ نُبُوَّةٍ ثُمَّ يُؤْتِي اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ مَنْ يَشَاءَ رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ مِيزَانًا دُلِّيَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَوُزِنْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَرَجَحْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ وُزِنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِعُمَرَ فَرَجَحَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِعُمَرَ ثُمَّ وُزِنَ عُمَرُ بِعُثْمَانَ فَرَجَحَ عُمَرُ بِعُثْمَانَ ثُمَّ رُفِعَ الْمِيزَانُ فَاسْتَهْلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِلَافَةُ نُبُوَّةٍ ثُمَّ يُؤْتِي اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ مَنْ يَشَاءَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rizq Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Mu'ammal narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jumhan, from Safinah, may Allah be well pleased with him, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I saw in a dream as if a scale was lowered from the sky, and you were weighed against Abu Bakr, and you outweighed Abu Bakr. Then Abu Bakr was weighed against 'Umar, and Abu Bakr outweighed 'Umar. Then 'Umar was weighed against 'Uthman, and 'Umar outweighed 'Uthman. Then the scale was lifted." The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, interpreted it as: "A caliphate of prophethood, then Allah gives sovereignty to whomever He wills."
