حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ نَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ نَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَتَغَيَّمَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَأَشْكَلَتْ عَلَيْنَا الْقِبْلَةُ قَالَ فَصَلَّيْنَا فَلَمَّا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ إِذَا نَحْنُ صَلَّيْنَا لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَتَغَيَّمَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَأَشْكَلَتْ عَلَيْنَا الْقِبْلَةُ قَالَ فَصَلَّيْنَا فَلَمَّا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ إِذَا نَحْنُ صَلَّيْنَا لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Hakim narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ash'ath ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amir ibn Rabi'ah, from his father, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, on a journey when the sky became overcast and the direction of the qiblah became unclear to us. He said: So we prayed, and when the sun rose, we realized we had prayed facing other than the qiblah. We mentioned this to the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, and Allah revealed: "Wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah."
