إِذَا كُنَّا بِمَوْضِعِ الْبَرِيدِ الَّذِي خَلْفَ الرَّوْحَاءِ بَرَكَ بِنَا بَعِيرُنَا فَقُلْنَا اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا لَئِنْ أَدَّيْتَنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَنَنْحَرَنَّهُ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ مَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا لَكُمَا فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَنَّهُ بَرَكَ عَلَيْنَا فَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ بَصَقَ فِي وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا فَفَتَحْنَا لَهُ فَمَ الْبَعِيرِ فَصَبَّ فِي جَوْفِ الْبِكْرِ مِنْ وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ صَبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْبِكْرِ ثُمَّ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى حَارِكِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى سَنَامِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى عَجُزِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى ذَنَبِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ احْمِلْ رَافِعًا وَخَلَّادًا فَمَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقُمْنَا نَرْتَحِلُ فَارْتَحَلْنَا فَأَدْرَكَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمَنْصَفِ وَبَكَّرْنَا أَوَّلَ الرُّكَبِ فَلَمَّا رَآنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ فَمَضَيْنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا بَدْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا قَرِيبًا مِنْ بَدْرٍ بَرَكَ عَلَيْنَا فَقُلْنَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَنَحَرْنَاهُ وَصَدَّقْنَا بِلَحْمِهِ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى إِلَّا عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ وَلَا نَحْفَظُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ إِلَّا هَذَا الطَّرِيقَ إِذَا كُنَّا بِمَوْضِعِ الْبَرِيدِ الَّذِي خَلْفَ الرَّوْحَاءِ بَرَكَ بِنَا بَعِيرُنَا فَقُلْنَا اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا لَئِنْ أَدَّيْتَنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَنَنْحَرَنَّهُ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ مَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا لَكُمَا فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَنَّهُ بَرَكَ عَلَيْنَا فَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ بَصَقَ فِي وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا فَفَتَحْنَا لَهُ فَمَ الْبَعِيرِ فَصَبَّ فِي جَوْفِ الْبِكْرِ مِنْ وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ صَبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْبِكْرِ ثُمَّ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى حَارِكِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى سَنَامِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى عَجُزِهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى ذَنَبِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ احْمِلْ رَافِعًا وَخَلَّادًا فَمَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقُمْنَا نَرْتَحِلُ فَارْتَحَلْنَا فَأَدْرَكَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمَنْصَفِ وَبَكَّرْنَا أَوَّلَ الرُّكَبِ فَلَمَّا رَآنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ فَمَضَيْنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا بَدْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا قَرِيبًا مِنْ بَدْرٍ بَرَكَ عَلَيْنَا فَقُلْنَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَنَحَرْنَاهُ وَصَدَّقْنَا بِلَحْمِهِ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى إِلَّا عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ وَلَا نَحْفَظُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ إِلَّا هَذَا الطَّرِيقَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
When we were at the station of the postal relay behind al-Rawha', our camel knelt down and refused to move. We said: 'O Allah, we vow to You that if You deliver us to Madinah, we will slaughter it.' While we were in that state, the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, passed by us and said: 'What is the matter with you two?' We informed him that it had knelt down on us. The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, dismounted and performed ablution, then spat into his ablution water. Then he ordered us, and we opened the camel's mouth, and he poured some of his ablution water into the young camel's throat, then poured it on the camel's head, then on its neck, then on its withers, then on its hump, then on its hindquarters, then on its tail. Then he said: 'O Allah, carry Rafi' and Khallad.' The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, went on, and we got up to pack our load and departed. We caught up with the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, at the midpoint, and we were at the front of the caravan. When the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, saw us, he laughed. We continued until we reached Badr, and when we were close to Badr, it knelt down again. We said: 'All praise is due to Allah,' and we slaughtered it and gave its meat in charity. He said: This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated except from Rifa'ah ibn Rafi', and we do not know of any route from Rifa'ah except this route.
