حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَا نَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ أَنَا أَرْطَاةُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَلْ أُتِيتَ بِطَعَامٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ نَعَمْ أُتِيتُ بِمِسْخَنَةٍ قَالَ فَهَلْ كَانَ فِيهَا فَضْلٌ عَنْكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَمَاذَا فُعِلَ بِهِ قَالَ رُفِعَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَأَرْطَاةُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ وَضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مَعْرُوفَانِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَلْ أُتِيتَ بِطَعَامٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ نَعَمْ أُتِيتُ بِمِسْخَنَةٍ قَالَ فَهَلْ كَانَ فِيهَا فَضْلٌ عَنْكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَمَاذَا فُعِلَ بِهِ قَالَ رُفِعَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَأَرْطَاةُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ وَضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مَعْرُوفَانِ

Salamah ibn Shabib and Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, they said: Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, he said: Arta'ah ibn al-Mundhir informed us, he said: Damrah ibn Habib narrated to me, from Salamah ibn Nufayl, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, were you brought food from the sky?" He said: "Yes, I was brought a heated dish." He said: "Was there any left over?" He said: "Yes." He said: "What was done with it?" He said: "It was taken up [to heaven]." This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated from the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, with this wording except through this route. Arta'ah ibn al-Mundhir and Damrah ibn Habib are two well-known men from the people of Syria.
