وَأَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جِبْرِيلَ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي رَجُلٌ أُحِبُّ الْحَمْدَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلِمَةً أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ حَسْبُكَ أَنْ تَعِيشَ حَمِيدًا وَتَمُوتَ فَقِيدًا وَإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ بِمَحَاسِنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
And Ishaq ibn Jibril ibn al-Mubarak informed us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun informed us, he said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Husayn, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who met a woman and did everything with her that a man does with his wife, except that he did not have intercourse with her?' So Allah revealed: 'Establish the prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds drive away evil deeds.'
