حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ أَمِيرًا صَلَّى فَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَنَّى عَلِقَهَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ وَلَمْ يُسْنِدْهُ عَلِقَهَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ وَلَمْ يُسْنِدْهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Amr ibn Ali and Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, they said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid, from Abu Ma'mar, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, that a commander prayed and gave salaam to his right and his left. Abdullah said: From where did he learn that? The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to give salaam to his right and to his left. This hadith has been narrated by more than one, and they did not ascribe it [to the Prophet].
