حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ نا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْوَائِدَةُ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي النَّارِ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا جَوَّدَهُ إِلَّا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ الْوَائِدَةُ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي النَّارِ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا جَوَّدَهُ إِلَّا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, that Aisha said: Two months of the months of the years would not pass except that I would see the crescent of the month, the crescent of the month, and the crescent of the month — three crescents in two months — and no fire was lit in the house of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). I said: O aunt, what sustained you? She said: The two black ones — dates and water.
