أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الطَّائِيُّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ السُّوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدَ ثنا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ قَالَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الطَّائِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمْرَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا وَسَأَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ عَائِشَةَ أَنْ تَسْتَأْذِنَ لَهَا فَفَعَلَتْ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ ذَلِكَ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ أَمَرَتْ بِبِنَاءٍ لَهَا فَبُنِيَ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى انْصَرَفَ إِلَى بُنْيَانِهِ فَبَصُرَ بِالْأَبْنِيَةِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَبْنِيَةُ؟ قَالُوا بِنَاءُ عَائِشَةَ وَحَفْصَةَ وَزَيْنَبَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْبِرَّ أَرَدْنَ بِهَذَا مَا أَنَا بِمُعْتَكِفٍ فَرَجَعَ فَلَمَّا أَفْطَرَ اعْتَكَفَ عَشْرًا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
'A'ishah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) intended to observe i'tikaf during the last ten nights of Ramadan. 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked permission and he permitted her. Hafsah asked 'A'ishah to seek permission for her, and she did. When Zaynab bint Jahsh saw this, she ordered a structure to be built for her. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), when he finished the prayer, turned and saw the structures. He said: 'What are these?' They said: 'The structures of 'A'ishah, Hafsah, and Zaynab.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Is it righteousness they intend? I am not going to observe i'tikaf.' He returned, and when he broke his fast, he observed i'tikaf for ten days of Shawwal.
