أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمُوَاصَلَةِ وَالْحِجَامَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ إِبْقَاءً عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهُمَا فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَظَلُّ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي
انگریزی ترجمہ
A man from the Companions of Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade continuous fasting (wisal) and cupping for the fasting person, out of mercy for his Companions, but he did not make them prohibited. It was said to him: 'You practice continuous fasting.' He said: 'My Lord feeds me and gives me drink.'
