أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو يَعْلَى أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ ثنا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ خَالِدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ جُمُعَةً مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ كَذَا قَالَ وَلَا أَظُنُّهُ إِلَّا وَاهِمًا فِي إِسْنَادِهِ لِاتِّفَاقِ مَا مَضَى عَلَى خِلَافٍ فِيهِ فَأَمَّا الْمَتْنُ فَإِنَّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِصِحَّةِ رِوَايَةِ هَمَّامٍ وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ لَا يَرَاهُ قَوِيًّا فَإِنَّ قُدَامَةَ بْنَ وَبَرَةَ لَمْ يُثْبَتْ سَمَاعُهُ مِنْ سَمُرَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ حَمَّادٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ قُدَامَةُ بْنُ وَبَرَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ لَمْ يَصِحَّ سَمَاعُهُ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ وَهَذَا الَّذِي ذَكَرَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ حَدِيثُ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي التَّخَلُّفِ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ

Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith al-Faqih informed us... from Abu Ya'la... from Ibrahim ibn 'Ar'arah... from Nuh ibn Qays, from his brother Khalid ibn Qays, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Samurah who said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever misses a Friday prayer deliberately, let him give a dinar in charity, and if he cannot find one, then half a dinar.' He said this, and I do not think he was other than mistaken in his chain, because of the agreement of the previous narrations against it. As for the matn (text), it supports the correctness of Hammam's narration. Al-Bukhari did not consider it strong, because the hearing of Qudamah ibn Wabarah from Samurah was not established. Abu Sa'd al-Malini informed us that Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adiyy said: I heard Ibn Hammad say: Al-Bukhari said: Qudamah ibn Wabarah from Samurah - his hearing is not confirmed. Abu Ahmad said: What al-Bukhari mentioned about the hadith of Qudamah ibn Wabarah is only the hadith of Qatadah from Qudamah from Samurah from the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding missing the Friday prayer.
