Hudhayfah narrated: 'I prayed with the Prophet (peace be upon him) one night, and he started reciting al-Baqarah. I thought he would bow after one hundred verses, but he continued. Then he started al-Nisa and recited it, then started Al Imran and recited it, reciting slowly. When he reached a verse of glorification, he glorified. When he reached a verse of asking, he asked. When he reached a verse of seeking refuge, he sought refuge. Then he bowed and kept saying: Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty. His bowing was almost as long as his standing. Then he said: Allah hears the one who praises Him, Our Lord, to You is the praise. Then he stood almost as long as his bowing. Then he prostrated and said: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, and his prostration was almost as long as his standing.'
