Mutarrif said: 'I and Imran ibn Husayn prayed behind Ali ibn Abi Talib. When he prostrated, he said takbir. When he raised his head, he said takbir. When he stood from two rak'ahs, he said takbir. When we finished, Imran took my hand and said: He reminded me of the prayer of Muhammad (peace be upon him) - or he said: He led us in a prayer like the prayer of Muhammad (peace be upon him).'
