وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَانِي أَنْ يَسْتَعِدُّوا لِي حُزَمًا مِنْ حَطَبٍ ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ بُيُوتًا عَلَى مَنْ فِيهَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aishah narrated: "The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He stood and made a very long standing, then bowed a long bowing, then stood again for a long standing but shorter than the first, then bowed again, shorter than the first. Then he prostrated a long prostration. He did the same in the second rak'ah. Then he addressed the people and said: 'The sun and moon are two of Allah's signs. They are not eclipsed because of anyone's death or birth. When you see that, pray and supplicate until the eclipse clears.'"
