أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ مَا لَكَ تَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ؟ لَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِطُولَى الطُّولَيَيْنِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِعُرْوَةَ مَا طُولَى الطُّولَيَيْنِ؟ قَالَ الْأَعْرَافُ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ مَا طُولَى الطُّولَيَيْنِ؟ قَالَ الْأَنْعَامُ وَالْأَعْرَافُ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani, from Abu Asim al-Nabil, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Urwah, from Marwan who said: Zayd ibn Thabit said to me: "Why do you recite short surahs from the Mufassal in the Maghrib prayer? I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recite in the Maghrib the longer of the two long ones." I asked Urwah: "What is the longer of the two long ones?" He said: "Al-A'raf." I asked Ibn Abi Mulaykah: "What is the longer of the two long ones?" He said: "Al-An'am and al-A'raf." Al-Bukhari narrated it in his Sahih from Abu Asim al-Nabil.
