وَبِإِسْنَادِهِمَا عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ صَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ الصُّبْحَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا سُورَةَ يُوسُفَ وَسُورَةَ الْحَجِّ قِرَاءَةً بَطِيئَةً قَالَ هِشَامٌ فَقُلْتُ وَاللهِ إِذًا لَقَدْ كَانَ يَقُومُ حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ أَجَلْ صلينا و راء عمر بن الخطاب الصبح فقرء فيها سوره يوسف وسوره الحج قراءه بطيءه
انگریزی ترجمہ
And through their chain of narration from Malik, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, that he heard Abdullah ibn Amir say: We prayed the morning prayer behind Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and he recited Surah Yusuf and Surah al-Hajj in a slow recitation. Hisham said: I said, "By Allah, then he must have been standing since the break of dawn." He said: "Indeed."
