أنبأ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَقْرَأَنِي جَبْرَائِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَرَاجَعْتُهُ فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَسْتَزِيدُهُ وَيَزِيدُنِي حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَإِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْأَحْرُفُ فِي الْأَمْرِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ يُخْتَلَفُ فِي حَلَالٍ وَلَا حَرَامٍ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ وَعُقَيْلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran in Baghdad informed us... from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: 'Jibril (peace be upon him) taught me to recite in one mode. I kept asking him for more and he kept granting more, until it reached seven modes.' Al-Zuhri said: 'These modes are only about a single matter; they do not differ regarding halal and haram.' Narrated by Muslim from Abd ibn Humayd from Abd al-Razzaq, and al-Bukhari narrated it from Yunus and Uqayl from al-Zuhri.
