وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبِي عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فَقَالَ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ ؓ فَلَمْ أَرَ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَهُ قَطُّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Malik al-Ashja'i said: I asked my father about the qunut and he said: 'I prayed behind the Prophet (peace be upon him), and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman, may Allah be pleased with them, and I did not see any of them ever do it.'
