وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَلَى أَخِيهِ عُتْبَةَ نَعُودُهُ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فَرَأَى مَعَ أَخِيهِ مِرْوَحَةً يَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهَا فَانْتَزَعَهَا مِنْهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَقَالَ اسْجُدْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَأَوْمِ إِيمَاءً وَاجْعَلِ السُّجُودَ أَخْفَضَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Alqamah said: I entered with Abdullah upon his brother Utbah to visit him while he was ill. He saw with his brother a fan that he was prostrating upon, so Abdullah snatched it from him and said: Prostrate on the ground, and if you cannot, then gesture by nodding, and make the prostration lower than the bowing.
