حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ (ح) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ قَالَا ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي فَضَاءٍ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ أَصَحَّ مِنْ هَذَا عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَسَيَرِدُ بَعْدَ هَذَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى

Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us by dictation, Abu Sa'id Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad al-Basri informed us in Makkah — and Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar informed us — they said: Sa'dan ibn Nasr al-Mukharrimi narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-Hajjaj ibn Artah from al-Hakam ibn Utbah from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed in an open space with nothing in front of him. There is a supporting narration with a sounder chain from al-Fadl ibn Abbas, which will come after this, God willing.
