حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ إِمْلَاءً فِي جَامِعِ الْمَنْصُورِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانُ النَّجَّادُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ الْقُرَشِيُّ أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ مَا صَلَّوِا الْمَغْرِبَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ النُّجُومِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The most qualified to lead the prayer is the one who knows the most Quran. If equal in Quran, then the most knowledgeable of the Sunnah. If equal in the Sunnah, then the earliest to migrate. If equal in migration, then the oldest. A man should not lead another in his authority, nor sit in his place of honor without permission."
