أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الرَّفَّاءُ أنبأ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْفُقَهَاءِ الَّذِينَ يُنْتَهَى إِلَى قَوْلِهِمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ الرِّهَانُ فِي الْخَيْلِ جَائِزٌ إِذَا أُدْخِلَ فِيهَا مُحَلِّلٌ إِنْ سَبَقَ أَخَذَ وَإِنْ سُبِقَ لَمْ يَغْرَمْ شَيْئًا وَيَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ الْمُحَلِّلُ شَبِيهًا بِالْخَيْلِ فِي النَّجَاءِ وَالْجَوْدَةِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man ate in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with his left hand. He said: 'Eat with your right hand.' He said: I cannot. He said: 'May you never be able!' Nothing prevented him except arrogance, and he could not raise it to his mouth after that.
