أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَدَرِ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ فَقَالَ مَا يُعْجِبُنِي ذَلِكَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ مَا يَضُرُّ النَّاسَ فِي دِينِهِمْ وَدُنْيَاهُمْ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ} [المائدة 4] قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَأَرَى لِصَاحِبِ السُّوقِ أَنْ يَمْنَعَهُمْ عَنْ بَيْعِ ذَلِكَ وَيَنْهَى عَنْهُ وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ وَهُوَ أَيْضًا مِنْ بَابِ السَّفَهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Malik was asked about selling the type of clay that people eat. He said: I do not approve of that - selling what harms people in their religion and worldly life. Allah the Almighty says: 'They ask you what has been made lawful for them. Say: Lawful for you are the good things' [Al-Ma'idah: 4]. Malik said: I think the market supervisor should prevent them from selling it and prohibit it. Malik also said: It is also a matter of foolishness.
