أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ الْخُوَارِزْمِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أنبأ ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ سَقَطَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَمَاتَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوا سَمْنَكُمْ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْقَاضِي خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَه��ا مِنَ السَّمْنِ فَاطْرَحُوهُ

Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us: Ahmad ibn Ubayd al-Saffar reported to us: Isma'il ibn Ishaq al-Qadi narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Abi Uways narrated to us — (H) — And Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ghalib al-Khuwarizmi informed us in Baghdad: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Hamdan al-Naysaburi narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ayyub narrated to us: Ibn Abi Uways reported to us: Malik narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah ibn Mas'ud, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, from Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that fell into ghee (clarified butter) and died. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take it and what is around it, and eat your ghee." This is the wording of Muhammad's hadith. In al-Qadi's narration: "Take it and what is around it of the ghee, and throw it away."
