أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ح وَأنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ شَاذَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ مُوسَى أنبأ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ فِي الْقُرْآنِ شِفَاءَانِ الْقُرْآنُ وَالْعَسَلُ الْقُرْآنُ شِفَاءٌ لِمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَالْعَسَلُ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ

Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq informed us, Hamzah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Abbas ibn al-Fadl narrated to us. And Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Shadhan informed us in Baghdad, Hamzah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Abbas narrated to us, al-Abbas al-Duri narrated to us, Ubaydullah, who is Ibn Musa, narrated to us, Isra'il informed us from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): "There are two cures: the Quran and honey. The Quran is a healing for what is in the hearts, and honey is a cure for every disease."
