أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُضَحِّي بِالْمَدِينَةِ بِالْجَزُورِ أَحْيَانًا وَبِالْكَبْشِ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ جَزُورًا

Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Muqri' informed us, al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, Yusuf ibn Ya'qub the judge narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, Abd al-Kabir al-Hanafi narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Nafi' narrated to us from his father from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sacrifice in Madinah with a camel sometimes, and with a ram when he could not find a camel.
