أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُطَرِّفٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ أَدْرَكْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَوْ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ كَانَا لَا يُضَحِّيَانِ فِي بَعْضِ حَدِيثِهِمْ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُقْتَدَى بِهِمَا أَبُو سَرِيحَةَ الْغِفَارِيُّ هُوَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ أُسَيْدٍ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran al-Adl in Baghdad informed us, Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Misri informed us, Ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, al-Firyabi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated from his father, Mutarrif, and Isma'il from al-Sha'bi, from Abu Sarihah al-Ghifari who said: I met Abu Bakr - or he said: I saw Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) - they used to not sacrifice. In some of their narrations: out of concern that people would follow their example. Abu Sarihah al-Ghifari is Hudhayfah ibn Usayd, a companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
