أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ مَضَتِ السُّنَّةُ البيهقي ١٨٧٧٩: عن

Abu Tahir informed us, Abu Bakr narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us from 'Asim, from Abu Wa'il, from 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: It has become an established practice that messengers are not killed.
