وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ مُغَلِّسٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُدَيْرٍ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى عُمَرَ فِي أُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ يَدْخُلُونَ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضَ الْإِسْلَامِ فَيُقِيمُونَ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ إِلِيَّ عُمَرُ ؓ إِنْ أَقَامُوا سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَخُذْ مِنْهُمُ الْعُشْرَ وَإِنْ أَقَامُوا سَنَةً فَخُذْ مِنْهُمْ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id informed us, Abu al-'Abbas narrated to us, al-Hasan narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Qays ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us from Mughallis, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, from Abu Mijlaz, from Ziyad ibn Hudayr, who said: I wrote to 'Umar about some people from the enemy territory who enter our land — the land of Islam — and settle. 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote back to me: "If they stay six months, collect a tenth from them. And if they stay a year, collect half of a tenth from them."
