أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحِيرِيُّ ثنا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ قَالَ قُلْنَا لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ السُّلَمِيِّ ؓ حَدِّثْنَا وَاحْذَرْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Ali ibn Isa al-Hiri, from Musaddad ibn Qatan, from Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah, from Jarir, from al-A'mash, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Shurahbil ibn al-Simt who said: We said to Ka'b ibn Murrah al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him): Narrate to us and be careful. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Whoever grows a gray hair in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is like freeing a slave.
