أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدُوسٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ يَقُولُ نَدَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ثُمَّ نَدَبَهُمْ فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ثُمَّ نَدَبَهُمْ فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَزَادَ فِيهِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ وَابْنُ عَمَّتِي
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abdus, from Uthman ibn Sa'id, from Ali ibn al-Madini, from Sufyan, from Ibn al-Munkadir who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) called for volunteers on the day of al-Khandaq (the Trench). Al-Zubayr volunteered. He called again, and al-Zubayr volunteered. He called a third time, and al-Zubayr volunteered. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Every prophet has a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is al-Zubayr. Sufyan said: Hisham ibn Urwah added: And my disciple is al-Zubayr, and the son of my aunt.
