وَقَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَهَذَا لِمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الرَّزَّازُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى خَثْعَمٍ فَاعْتَصَمَ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالسُّجُودِ وَأَسْرَعَ فِيهِمُ الْقَتْلُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ لَهُمْ بِنِصْفِ الْعَقْلِ وَقَالَ أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ مُقِيمٍ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَلِمَ؟ قَالَ لَا تَرَايَا نَارَاهُمَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Shaykh said: This is in accordance with what Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id informed us, from Abu al-Abbas, and Abu al-Hasan al-Razzaz in Baghdad, from Abu Sahl al-Qattan, from Ahmad ibn Abd al-Jabbar, from Abu Mu'awiya, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Jarir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent a raiding party against Khath'am. Some of them sought protection through prostration, but the killing was swift among them. When this reached the Prophet, he ordered half the blood-money for them and said: I am free of every Muslim who resides among the polytheists. They asked: O Messenger of Allah, why? He said: Their fires should not be visible to each other.
