وَأَمَّا الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَا أَسْهَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلْفَارِسِ لِفَرَسِهِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِصَاحِبِهِ سَهْمًا فَصَارَ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَسْهُمٍ وَلِلرَّاجِلِ سَهْمًا وَأَسْهَمَ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ فَهَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَوْصُولٌ صَحِيحٌ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aishah asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about plague. He said: "It was a punishment that Allah sent upon whomever He willed, but He made it a mercy for the believers. No servant remains in a land where plague has occurred, staying patiently, knowing that nothing will befall him except what Allah has decreed for him, except that he will have the reward of a martyr."
