قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أُتِيَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ بِالنَّجَاشِيِّ قَدْ شَرِبَ خَمْرًا فِي رَمَضَانَ فَأَفْطَرَ فَضَرَبَهُ ثَمَانِينَ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ فَضَرَبَهُ عِشْرِينَ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا ضَرَبْتُكَ هَذِهِ الْعِشْرِينَ لِجُرْأَتِكَ عَلَى اللهِ وَإِفْطَارِكَ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Najashi was brought to Ali having drunk wine during Ramadan, thereby breaking his fast. Ali flogged him eighty. Then the next day, he brought him out and gave him twenty more, saying: "I gave you these additional twenty for your audacity before Allah and for breaking your fast in Ramadan."
