أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْإِسْفِرَايِينِيُّ ابْنُ السَّقَّاءِ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَطَّةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْمَانَهُمَا وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ وَهَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي قِرَاءَتِنَا وَالسَّارِقُونَ وَالسَّارِقَاتُ تُقْطَعُ أَيْمَانُهُمْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Discussion of the 'aqiqah — the sacrifice for a newborn child. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Every child is held in pledge for his 'aqiqah — it is sacrificed on the seventh day, his head is shaved, and he is given a name." Two sheep are sacrificed for a boy and one for a girl. The 'aqiqah is a sunnah practice that celebrates the birth of a child and expresses gratitude to Allah.
