وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ الْإِسْفِرَايِينِيُّ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ ؓ قَدِمَ الشَّامَ فَوَجَدَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ لِبَطَارِقَتِهِمْ وَأَسَاقِفَتِهِمْ فَرَوَى فِي نَفْسِهِ أَنْ يَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ سَجَدَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي دَخَلْتُ الشَّامَ فَوَجَدْتُهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ لِبَطَارِقَتِهِمْ وَأَسَاقِفَتِهِمْ فَرَوَيْتُ فِي نَفْسِي أَنْ أَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ لَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا تُؤَدِّي الْمَرْأَةُ حَقَّ رَبِّهَا ﷻ حَتَّى تُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ زَوْجِهَا كُلَّهُ حَتَّى أَنْ لَوْ سَأَلَهَا نَفْسَهَا وَهِيَ عَلَى قَتَبٍ أَعْطَتْهُ أَوْ قَالَ لَمْ تَمْنَعْهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Hasan al-Muqri al-Isfirayini informed us... from Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, that Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Syria and found them prostrating to their patriarchs and bishops. He thought to himself about doing that for the Prophet (peace be upon him). When he arrived, he prostrated to the Prophet (peace be upon him), who disapproved. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I went to Syria and found them prostrating to their patriarchs and bishops, and I thought to myself about doing that for you. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded a wife to prostrate to her husband. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, a woman does not fulfill the right of her Lord until she fulfills the right of her husband entirely, even if he were to ask her for herself while she is on a camel saddle, she should comply.
