أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ نا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ نا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ نا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنِ النَّزَّالِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ قَالَ أُتِيَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ بِإِنَاءٍ فِي الرَّحَبَةِ فَشَرِبَ قَائِمًا قَالَ وَكَانَ أُنَاسٌ يَكْرَهُ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ قَائِمًا وَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي فَعَلْتُ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ قَالَ فَأَرَاهُ قَالَ مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ مَنْ لَمْ يُحْدِثْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from al-Nazzal bin Sabrah, who said: Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought a vessel in the open area and he drank while standing. He said: There were people who disliked drinking while standing, but I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) do as you have seen me do. Then he took some water and, I believe he said, wiped his face, hands, and feet, then said: This is the ablution of one who has not broken his purity.
