أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ صَخْرٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ وَالْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ وَهَذَا حَدِيثُهُ قَالَا نا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ نا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مِينَاءَ نا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْخَنْدَقِ أَصَابَ النَّاسُ خَمَصًا شَدِيدًا قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِأَهْلِي هَلْ عِنْدَكِ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى نَدْعُوَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ؟ قَالَتْ مَا عِنْدَنَا إِلَّا صَاعٌ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا اطْحَنِيهِ قَالَ وَذَبَحْتُ عَنَاقًا عِنْدَنَا قَالَ فَفَرَغْتُ إِلَى فَرَاغِي فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَدْعُو النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ عِنْدَنَا صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ وَعِنْدَنَا عَنَاقٌ أَوْ شَاةٌ فَذَبَحْنَاهَا قَالَ فَصَاحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ قُومُوا فَقَدْ صَنَعَ جَابِرٌ سُورًا قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ فَأَتَيْتُ امْرَأَتِي فَقَالَتْ بِكَ وَبِكَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ ضَعُوا بُرْمَتَكُمْ قَالَ فَوَضَعُوا فِيهَا اللَّحْمَ فَبَسَقَ فِيهَا وَبَارَكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ انْظُرُوا خَابِزَةً تَخْبِزُ لَكُمْ قَالَ فَجَعَلَتِ الْخَابِزَةُ تَخْبِزُ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ادْخُلُوا عَشَرَةً عَشَرَةً قَالَ فَجَعَلَ يَغْرِفُ لَهُمْ فَيَأْكُلُونَ حَتَّى أَتَى عَلَى آخِرِهِمْ وَإِنَّا لَنَقْدَحُ فِي بُرْمَتِنَا وَإِنَّ عَجِينَنَا لَيُخْبَزُ كَمَا هُوَ وَإِنَّ قِدْرَنَا لَتَغِطُّ كَمَا هِيَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari, who said: On the day of the Trench (al-Khandaq), the people suffered severe hunger. I said to my wife: Do you have anything so that we can invite the Prophet (peace be upon him)? She said: We have nothing except a sa' of barley. I said to her: Grind it. And I slaughtered a young goat we had. When I was done, I went to invite the Prophet (peace be upon him). I said: O Messenger of Allah, we have a sa' of barley and a young goat which we have slaughtered. The Prophet (peace be upon him) called out to his Companions: Stand up, for Jabir has prepared a feast! I went ahead of the people and came to my wife, who said: May this and that happen to you! Do not disgrace me today before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered and said: Set your pot down. They put the meat in it, and he spat in it and blessed it. Then he said: Find a baker to bake for you. The baker kept baking. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Let them enter ten by ten. He kept ladling for them and they ate until the last of them had finished, while we were still scooping from our pot, our dough was still being baked as it was, and our pot was still bubbling as it was.
