أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا فِطْرٌ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ وَلَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِي وَلَكِنَّ الْوَاصِلَ الَّذِي إِذَا انْقَطَعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا

Discussion about whether the five categories who receive from the khums (fifth of war spoils) — the Prophet, his relatives, orphans, the needy, and travelers — replace the eight categories who receive zakat for the Prophet's family.
