أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ الْأَحْمَسِيِّ قَالَ غَزَتْ بَنُو عُطَارِدٍ مَاءَ الْبَصْرَةِ وَأُمِدُّوا بِعَمَّارٍ مِنَ الْكُوفَةِ فَخَرَجَ قَبْلَ الْوَقْعَةِ وَقَدِمَ بَعْدَ الْوَقْعَةِ فَقَالَ نَحْنُ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ فِي الْغَنِيمَةِ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عُطَارِدٍ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الْمُجَدَّعُ تُرِيدُ أَنْ نَقْسِمَ لَكَ غَنَائِمَنَا؟ وَكَانَتْ أُذُنُهُ أُصِيبَتْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَالَ عَيَّرْتُمُونِي بِأَحَبِّ أُذُنِيَّ أَوْ خَيْرِ أُذُنِيَّ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ فِي ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُمَرَ ؓ فَكَتَبَ أَنَّ الْغَنِيمَةَ لِمَنْ شَهِدَ الْوَقْعَةَ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ فِي قِصَّةٍ أُخْرَى أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِنَّمَا الْغَنِيمَةُ لِمَنْ شَهِدَ الْوَقْعَةَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Tariq ibn Shihab al-Ahmasi said: Banu 'Utarid raided the outskirts of Basrah and were reinforced with 'Ammar from Kufah. He set out before the battle and arrived after it. He said: 'We are their partners in the spoils.' A man from Banu 'Utarid stood up and said: 'O mutilated slave, you want us to divide our spoils with you?' - his ear had been struck in the cause of Allah. He said: 'You reproach me with the dearest - or the best - of my two ears!' He wrote about that to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who wrote back: 'The spoils belong to those who witnessed the battle.' And it was also narrated from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) in another incident that he wrote: 'The spoils belong to those who witnessed the battle.'
