أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ وَزَيْدٌ ؓ لِلزَّوْجِ النِّصْفُ وَلِلْأُمِّ السُّدُسُ وَلِلْإِخْوَةِ مِنَ الْأُمِّ الثُّلُثُ وَلَمْ يُشَرِّكَا بَيْنَ الْإِخْوَةِ مِنَ الْأَبِ وَالْأُمِّ مَعَهُم وَقَالَا همُّ عَصَبَةٍ إِنْ فَضَلَ شَيْءٌ كَانَ لَهُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْضُلْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شَيْءٌ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us with his chain from Muhammad ibn Salim from al-Sha'bi: Ali and Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them) said: the husband receives half, the mother a sixth, the maternal siblings the third, and they did not share the full siblings with them. They said: 'They are residuary heirs; if anything remains, it is theirs, and if nothing remains, they receive nothing.'
