وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَوْنٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ قَالَ حَفِظْتُ عَنْ عُمَرَ مِائَةَ قَضِيَّةٍ فِي الْجَدِّ قَالَ وَقَالَ إِنِّي قَدْ قَضَيْتُ فِي الْجَدِّ قَضَايَا مُخْتَلِفَةً كُلُّهَا لَا آلُو فِيهِ عَنِ الْحَقِّ وَلَئِنْ عِشْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ إِلَى الصَّيْفِ لَأَقْضِيَنَّ فِيهَا بِقَضِيَّةٍ تَقْضِي بِهِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَهِيَ عَلَى ذَيْلِهَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us: Abu Abdullah ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Abd al-A'la narrated to us: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated, saying: I heard Ibn Awn reporting from Muhammad from Abidah who said: 'I memorized from Umar a hundred rulings regarding the grandfather.' He also said: 'I have made varying rulings about the grandfather, all of which I strove to be right. If I live until summer, God willing, I will make a ruling so clear that even a woman spinning at her loom could apply it.'
