أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ قُرَيْشٍ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عُثْمَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَنْزِلُ فِي دَارِكَ بِمَكَّةَ؟ قَالَ وَهَلَ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلٌ مِنْ رِبَاعٍ أَوْ دُورٍ؟ وَكَانَ عَقِيلٌ وَرِثَ أَبَا طَالِبٍ هُوَ وَطَالِبٌ وَلَمْ يَرِثْهُ جَعْفَرٌ وَلَا عَلِيٌّ؛ لِأَنَّهُمَا كَانَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ وَكَانَ عَقِيلٌ وَطَالِبٌ كَافِرَيْنِ فَكَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ لَا يَرِثُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْكَافِرَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Bakr ibn Quraysh informed me: al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us: Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated to us: Yunus ibn Yazid informed me from Ibn Shihab who said: Ali ibn Husayn narrated to me that Amr ibn Uthman informed him from Usamah ibn Zayd who said: O Messenger of Allah, will you stay in your house in Makkah? He said: Has Aqil left us any dwellings or houses? Aqil had inherited Abu Talib along with Talib, while Ja'far and Ali did not inherit from him because they were Muslims, and Aqil and Talib were disbelievers. So Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say because of this: A believer does not inherit from a disbeliever.
