أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَأَقْبَلَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ؓ وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ يَعْثُرَانِ وَيَقُومَانِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُمَا نَزَلَ فَأَخَذَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَعِدَ فَوَضَعَهُمَا فِي حِجْرِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ صَدَقَ اللهُ {إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ} [التغابن 15] رَأَيْتُ هَذَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ حَتَّى أَخَذْتُهُمَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was giving a sermon when al-Hasan and al-Husayn came wearing red shirts, stumbling and getting up. He descended from the pulpit, picked them up, and placed them in his lap, saying: "Allah spoke the truth: 'Your wealth and your children are but a trial.' I saw these two and could not be patient." Then he continued the sermon.
