Yunus told us: al-Khazraj told us, from Abu Ayyub, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "I entered the mosque with him on a Friday, and he saw a boy and said to him: 'O boy, go and play.' The boy said: 'I have only come to the mosque.' He said again: 'O boy, go and play.' The boy said: 'I have only come to the mosque.' He said: 'Then will you sit until the imam comes out?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The angels come on Friday and sit at the doors of the mosque, recording the first, the second, and the third to arrive, and the people according to their rank, until the imam comes out; and when the imam comes out, the scrolls are folded up.'"
