وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ هَذَا أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَمْرٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَمَرَ فِيهِ بِأَمْرٍ ثُمَّ حَمَلَ الْحَسَنَ أَوْ الْحُسَيْنَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَإِذَا لُعَابُهُ يَسِيلُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ يَلُوكُ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَلْقِهَا أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الصَّدَقَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
And with this same chain: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was brought some dates from the dates of charity, and he gave an order concerning them. Then he carried al-Hasan or al-Husayn on his shoulder, and his saliva was flowing. He looked at him and found that he was chewing a date from the dates of charity. He said: 'Throw it away — do you not realize that the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) do not eat from charity?'
