حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَمِسْعَرٍ عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الْجُمَحِيِّ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَقَالَ مِسْعَرٌ أَظُنُّهُ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ مَرُّوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجِنَازَةٍ فَأَثْنَوْا عَلَيْهَا خَيْرًا فَقَالَ وَجَبَتْ ثُمَّ مَرُّوا عَلَيْهِ بِجِنَازَةٍ فَأَثْنَوْا عَلَيْهَا شَرًّا فَقَالَ وَجَبَتْ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا وَجَبَتْ قَالَ بَعْضُكُمْ شُهَدَاءُ عَلَى بَعْضٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan and Mis'ar, from Ibrahim ibn Amir ibn Mas'ud al-Jumahi - Sufyan said: from Amir ibn Sa'd, and Mis'ar said: I think it was from Amir ibn Sa'd - from Abu Hurayrah, he said: A funeral procession passed by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and they praised the deceased with good words, so he said, "It is assured." Then another funeral procession passed by him, and they spoke ill of the deceased, so he said, "It is assured." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is assured?" He said, "You are witnesses over one another."
