قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ كُلِّ وُضُوءٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Were it not that I would impose hardship on my nation, I would have commanded them to use the tooth-stick with every ablution."
